Designed for the hottest trail days, the Crankbrothers Mallet Trail Speed Lace Vent shoes keep you cool and focused on the ride, not the sweat. Light, breathable, and quick drying, they’re built for maximum performance in summer conditions.

The highly ventilated mesh upper allows for maximum airflow while providing a secure fit, and the quick-drying EVA tongue helps shed water after river crossings or wet spots. With a TPU-reinforced toe box for added protection and a Speed Lace closure for quick adjustments, the Vent shoes are built to handle whatever the trail throws your way.

Underfoot, a fiber-reinforced shank delivers efficient power transfer, and a mid-friction compound provides smooth entry and exit, as well as long-lasting durability. Meanwhile, a moderately flexible midsole absorbs impacts and reduces vibration for greater comfort. The MATCH Outsole provides an optimized pedal interface and confident traction on and off the bike, excellent walkability, and compatibility with both Crankbrothers and SPD clip-in systems.

Match Box

Ramped cleat box offers easy pedal entry and mud shedding. The extended 35mm cleat track allows rearward positioning for added control and stability when descending. And, the cleat box depth is carefully chosen to allow for optimal shoe-to-pedal contact, right out of the box.

Match Compound

Mid-friction MC1 rubber compound for easy pedal entry and exit, plus long life.
