      Really crisp actuation, no change

"Really crisp actuation, no change over time. Super robust. On my trail bike and no issues so far!"

      I’m a professional bike patroller

"I’m a professional bike patroller and bought a downhill bike specifically for work. It didn’t come with a dropper so I bought this one from Crank. It was difficult to install because the bike was not designed for it, but that is not the fault of Crankbrothers. I absolutely love the lever that I bought with it, it attached to my brake system perfectly. If I had to do it again I would buy an electric one, but now that it’s installed it works perfectly!"

Responsive and sturdy dropper post on a budget

"Picked one of these up in the 170mm travel version from my local bike shop on sale to upgrade my Polygon Siskiu D5 with a dropper post and I've been blown away by the performance and build quality for the price. While I haven't been riding it long enough to speak for service intervals, servicing seems quite straightforward and the dropper post comes with internal lubricant in the box for your next service."

      Great dropper and works flawlessly

"Great dropper and works flawlessly but I really wish it was available in the Highline 7 which tends to have a bit smoother action. That said, I run the Highline on all of my mountain bikes and am very pleased."

      Mike S. (5/5)

      Perfect size for a small

"Perfect size for a small frame and easy to install."

      Q&A

I purchased this dropper post and I am a light rider and I was wondering how much weight you need to apply to the post for it to go down and if I can change that weight
Hi Jesse, Thanks very much for your question. That's a difficult question to answer with certainty due to the amount of variables present. The frame's seat-tube angle along with saddle positioning on the post can effect the potential amount of force/weight needed to compress the dropper post. However, we can confirm that youth riders of 70 lbs have had no issue compressing the dropper post under their own weight. Best Regards, Crankbrothers Rider Support
Would this be a good fit for a scott spark rc 2022? light enough for racing?
Hi Josiah, thanks for your question. The Highline 3 Dropper is an excellent choice for the Scott Spark RC. It is not the lightest dropper post available, but it does feature a very competitive weight when compared to other droppers at the same price-point. The link below will guide you to sizing chart so you can be certain you're getting the right length. https://www.dropbox.com/s/eblka6l8c8i41tf/Highline%203%20Sizing%20Chart%2030-9_31-6_34-9%20MAR21C.pdf?dl=0 Cheers!
